The stars are dialling up a special month on the romantic front and with it, a real twist. By the time Jupiter ended his 12 month transit through your romantic sector at the end of June Venus, the planet of love had already moved through, the Sun had just returned for his month long visit and Mercury, who will normally move through in 14 to 15 days had been here for nearly four weeks. A month on and July ended with the Sun gone, but as you move into the new month, two months after returning on 1st June, Mercury is still here, still working to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page.
It was a retrograde turn that kept Mercury here so long and this will have ongoing implications. Back in direct motion, Mercury will finally leave on 10th August, the point when all planetary activity on the romantic front for the year should come to an end. Instead, on 11th August Mars will return for his first chance in two years to fire up your romantic passions and fighting spirit while two days later the dwarf planet Ceres will return to begin her first deep dive into your heart's needs and priorities in four years. Mars is here until the end of August, but Ceres won't leave until May 2027, keeping the spirit of romance alive all year.
In the same way that Mercury has stayed on to keep the romantic flame burning until Mars returned, the Moon is playing a role in ensuring that there is even a moment where there is no activity on the romantic front. Returning from 9th August to 11th August, the Moon will be here during Mercury's final hours and just seven minutes after Mars' return will leave. Meanwhile, there will be a gap between Venus, the planet of love's departure from your relationship sector on 7th August and the Sun's return on 23rd August. The Moon's return from 13th August to 16th August will partially bridge the gap, making it important to hold onto the relationship desires and expectations Venus leaves you with.
