I’ve never had much interest in staying on the surface. Born with intuitive insight and mediumship abilities, and technically trained in astrology, I’ve spent more than 40 years working with people at life’s crossroads. My approach is direct, instinctive, and sometimes uncomfortable. I ask difficult questions and make room for answers that defy expectations.
I’m Sloan Bella—a psychic medium, astrologer, published author, television personality, and the voice behind a YouTube community that knows I don’t soften every edge. I bring my experience and an unfiltered perspective to conversations about the things people often struggle to put into words.
I’m also a mother of two boys and grandmother of two girls. On July 29, 2020, my youngest son, Keith, was killed while riding his motorcycle in Chatsworth, California. His death shattered what I thought I understood about life, death, and the work I’d done for decades.
Grief ignores credentials. I live with it, question it, and speak openly about it. The human spirit still surprises me, as does the strength required to face an ordinary day without someone you love.
My story began in an orphanage.
Adopted into an established, business-minded family, I grew up trying to make sense of experiences that had no place in the world around me. By four, I was describing nightly encounters with spirits and otherworldly beings. Those early experiences shaped what I would later understand as my mediumship.
At seven, a cousin in England sent me a charm necklace that introduced me to astrology. That small gift sparked a lifelong obsession with the language of the planets.
I was rebellious, outspoken, and unwilling to deny what I experienced. In an already difficult childhood, that created more friction. At fourteen, I ran away from home. Homelessness led me into Toronto’s strip clubs, where I spent the next decade. Survival was an education with no soft edges.
My work developed in that same world—on the streets, around music, and among people whose lives rarely followed a straight line. I worked with missing and exploited children, and by seventeen, I was reading professionally as a psychic medium.
My clients included runaway teenagers, dancers, teachers, musicians, actors, businesspeople, politicians, and athletes. I read for Gregory Hines and Don Adams. People from very different worlds brought me their questions, their secrets, and the things they couldn’t say anywhere else.
Those years still inform how I work. I know how deeply experience can shape our beliefs, how survival can become a pattern, and how difficult it can be to question what once kept us going.
I bring that understanding into every reading: an open mind, a direct voice, and respect for the complicated life on the other side of the table.
