While there was a lot of movement in the final 48 hours of June, it was like players on a stage rushing to get into position and find their mark before the curtain lifts and the show can begin. In that case, showtime is 1st July, which is the first full day of a new month, of the second half of 2026 and the start of one of your most exciting years in over a decade. It was on 30th June and in the closing hours of June that Jupiter left your financial sector, just as Mercury's retrograde turn locked him into position and ensured you would have access to his smart head for money right through to when he leaves on 11th August.
By then Mercury, who will normally move through in just 14 to 15 days, will have been here for over two months, including the final weeks of Jupiter's 12 month quest for financial growth and expansion, throughout the Sun's month long visit that will end on 23rd July and in time to prepare for Mars' return next month. Meanwhile, 1st July is Jupiter's first full day in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery and this will have huge implications. Jupiter isn't just the planet of luck and expansion and as the largest and most powerful planet in the solar system, wherever he leans, everything else will follow.
As well as that, Jupiter is not just your ruling planet, but he is the ruler of your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery, making this the area of your chart where he is most at home. At the same time, from the start and right through to when he leaves in July 2027, Jupiter will have the support of the three planets in a playful and creative part of your chart that are here for the long haul. By the time you move into the new month Jupiter has been here for less than 24 hours, but this is the start of a major powering up of the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence that will impact the rest of this year and the first half of next year.

While July will not only be an active month on the romantic and relationship fronts, with planets in your romantic sector until 2044 and Uranus having returned at the end of April to spend the next seven years in your relationship sector, that will continue to be the case for years to come. However, while on the relationship front things are still evolving, on the romantic front things are not only settling down, but for the first time this year, you are down to the three core planets that will define the rest of the year and beyond and by the end of the month all three will be in retrograde motion, with their focus on the past.
It will begin on 7th July, when for the first time since Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned to spend the next 13 years in your relationship sector, turns retrograde. This will be followed by Saturn, who is here until 2028, on 23rd July and on 27th July, the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior planet of the cosmos, who has been here for over nine decades and won't leave until 2044, will turn retrograde. While things are stable and with all three planets here having to come to a standstill in order to turn retrograde, there won't be a lot of change, they are all benefiting from having Venus, the planet of love in an adventurous part of your chart until 10th July and Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion in his first full month here.
Throughout the month and continuing when the Sun returns to an adventurous part of your chart on 23rd July, a mix of romance, adventure and nostalgia will deepen over the course of the month. This will be especially so when the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 7th July to 9th July. Meanwhile, while Uranus is settled into your relationship sector for the long haul, Mars is spending his first, last and only full month there and the dwarf planet Ceres will wrap up her last deep dive into your relationship needs and priorities for another four years next month.
