For you, August is always going to be a month where the lines between the past, present and future overlap. Always spending the first three weeks of August in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, by the time you move into the new month you are already nine days into the month long wind down of your old solar year. While this will end when on 23rd August the Sun leaves and returns to Virgo to begin your birthday month and new solar year, things are rarely that clear cut and especially not this year. The Sun might follow the same strict timetable, but the rest of the planets don't.
By the time you move into the new month, Venus is already in Virgo and until leaving on 7th August, is already opening new doors, while at the end of June Jupiter returned to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart where he will stay until July 2027, bringing your current 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion to a close. With the month set to get off to a busy start and especially on the job and career fronts, this makes the lunar nodes' new monitoring of how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off all the more important. Especially in a month where there is some subtle but real support building on the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence.
Meanwhile, when Venus leaves Virgo on 7th August, it is not only to return to your income sector to begin the first planetary activity here since last year and the most lucrative months of 2026, but to really make her mark. As the planet of money, desire and attraction, the 24 days that Venus will usually spend here can be the most lucrative weeks of any year. However, by the time she leaves next month, Venus will have been here for five weeks and she will be slowing ahead of a retrograde that will not only see her return in October but not leave again until December. This will have an impact on the rest of the year.

This month we have something completely new or at least a shift in focus from the last few months. While there have been no planets in your relationship sector since April, the North Node had been here since January 2025 and along with its partner the South Node in Virgo, since they returned in January 2025 they have been monitoring a balance between your own and your relationship needs. As after 13 years Neptune only left in January, this has been enough to keep the focus on your relationships. Except at the end of last month the lunar nodes left, ending their 18 month watch over things.
The Moon will begin the month in your relationship sector and until leaving on 3rd August, this first visit since the lunar nodes left will be a chance to check in, regroup and begin the month emotionally engaged and aware. However, while the Moon will return again from 28th August to 30th August, there will be no other planetary or cosmic activity on the relationship front until early next year. This is where the shift happens, for while there has been no planetary activity in your romantic sector since the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment left at the end of March, a retrograde turn will bring her back for a do over on 12th August.
Just as the continuing focus on your relationship ends, planetary activity on the romantic front that was supposed to be over until later in the year, all of a sudden is back on. Not leaving until 24th October, this opens the doors to the past and second chances, while shifting the focus from your relationships and onto matters of the heart. While Venus will leave Virgo on 7th August, the Moon's return to your romantic sector late last month had put Juno's approach on your over the horizon radar and this is helping to influence the planet of love's mission to update your romantic and relationship desires, hopes and aspirations for the coming year. The Moon will make its first visit since Juno's return from 23rd August to 25th August and with Chiron in retrograde motion in an adventurous part of your chart by then, with a strong sense of romance, adventure and nostalgia in the air.
